Glad To Be Back

By Ryan Mauro, Analyst

For those of you who do not know me, my name is Ryan Mauro. I've worked as an analyst in the past for the Northeast Intelligence Network and worked with its members behind-the-scenes over the past five years. I started working as a geopolitical analyst in 2002 when I was 16 years old, and joined N.E.I.N. when I was 17, and published my first book in 2005. Since then, being a college student (I'm now 22), and various technical problems at my personal web site, WorldThreats.com (which has just been re-launched), prevented me from providing current analysis and writing.

Luckily, things have changed and now I'm back, allowing me to closer collaborate with the impressive, hard-working investigators of N.E.I.N. Part of NEIN's strength is that we have a wide variety of views, and I am no different. I've been called a "liberal" at certain venues I've attended, and a "neocon Zionist" at others. I am no partisan, and am repulsed by some of the attacks on both Barack Obama and John McCain this election cycle. I, to be honest, am unsure as to what political pedigree I belong to

Thanks to all you who wondered why I suddenly dropped off the face of the earth, but most of all, thank you to NEIN and its readers for providing me with the opportunity to get back to doing what I love to do. It's great to be back!
