24 May 2007: The person who contacted the offices of the Northeast Intelligence Network earlier this week claiming to be the assistant to the chancellor of the International Qraanic Open University, levied charges that echoed a Pakistani terrorism Sheik’s 2006 charges that the Northeast Intelligence Network is responsible for spreading lies and hatred against Islam in the U.S. As detailed in a cover story by Canada Free Press, the Northeast Intelligence Network conducted an on-site investigation of the Islamic compound known as Islamberg in Hancock, NY, which was also the focus of renewed investigation by author Paul Williams in articles on that site as well as a chapter in his newly released book, The Day of Islam. The person behind the accusations was apparently speaking on behalf of Jamaat ul Fuqra founder and International terrorist Sheikh Mubarek Gilani of Lahore, Pakistan.

Apparently, the leadership of Jamaat ul Fuqra, an organization which until recently enjoyed a sense of anonymity, is upset with the upsurge in media attention that became high-profile following our investigation in 2006. The results of that investigation got the attention of Sheikh Gilani himself, who, from his terrorist digs in Pakistan, charged the Northeast Intelligence Network and an Internet Blogger who wishes anonnimity with bringing about a clash between Muslims and Christians the world over, and particularly in the United States (U.S.). Gilani responded to our investigative report by issuing a multi-page diatribe against Hagmann and the Northeast Intelligence Network.

Historically, Jamaat ul Fuqra At least a dozen Jamaat ul-Fuqra members have been convicted for terrorist activities, including conspiracy to commit murder, firebombing, and gun smuggling. Jamaat ul-Fuqra members are also suspected in 10 unsolved assassinations and 17 bombings that have occurred since 1980.In 1993, two Jamaat ul-Fuqra members were convicted in connection with the first World Trade Center attack and for conspiring to bomb New York City tunnels and landmarks, and the infamous “shoe bomber” Richard Reid and DC Beltway sniper John Allen Muhammad have reported connections to Jamaat ul Fuqra.

The Northeast Intelligence Network will remain undeterred by pressure ostensibly from the U.S. puppets of top terrorist Mubark Gilani, and applauds the continued investigation of best-selling author Paul Williams and his associates. Douglas J. Hagmann, director of the Northeast Intelligence Network, details the most recent accusations and responds in an hour-long interview on The Laurie Roth Show, and discusses Islamberg in a 20-minute interview on The Eagle 93.9.
