The Northeast Intelligence Network will be closely covering the verdict and its implications.

The Trouble With Muslim Charity

By Douglas J. Hagmann, Director

10 October 2007: This, from Investor’s Business Daily (IBD) article posted yesterday:

“The shocking truth is that Islamic religious giving - called “zakat,” the third pillar of Islam - supports terrorism. And millions of the blood money is donated by American Muslims through mosques and various charities once considered mainstream.”

(Excerpted from later in the article): “At many of the fund-raising events, the speakers performed skits and songs which advocated the destruction of the state of Israel and glorified the killing of Jewish people,” according to the federal indictment. They also sang songs in praise of Hamas.”

Read the entire Investor’s Business Daily article, print it out, spread it among your friends, as the financing of terrorism from INSIDE their enemy county - the United States - is purposely convoluted and quite effective.

On-site investigation by this agency - the Northeast Intelligence Network - found one such questionable “charity” that was reportedly established to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Based in Binghamton, NY, investigator and director of the Northeast Intelligence Network Doug Hagmann located the charity’s main office and found an empty apartment (except for multiple prayer rugs) in a dingy multi-family building in Binghamton, NY.

Among the few documents at this location were newspapers owned and edited by well-known Pakistani Islamic terrorist Sheihk Mubarek Gilani, printed in the Caribbean and distributed to his followers inside the U.S.

EXCLUSIVE: Islamic Terrorism in Toronto

From letter bombs to terror cells, much is left unreportedBy Douglas J. Hagmann, Director, & Judi McLeod, Founding Editor, Canada Free Press

4 September 2007: A joint investigation conducted by the Northeast Intelligence Network and Canada Free Press appears to have uncovered a nest of Islamist activity inside the greater Toronto, Ontario, Canada area (GTA) that has its tentacles reaching over the border into the United States and well into other foreign countries. Ms. McLeod, founding editor of Canada Free Press with her many law enforcement sources and many years of investigative journalistic experience, and Mr. Hagmann, director of the Northeast Intelligence Network with his two-and-a-half decades of investigative experience, have ventured far beyond the headlines tempered by political correctness and the limited media disclosure involving the case of Adel Mohamed ARNAOUT, the Toronto “mail bomber” and his place of residence known as the “Bombay Bunker.”

Adel Mohamed ARNAOUT, 37, a Muslim immigrant from Lebanon living at 176 Ashdale Avenue, Toronto, Ontario was arrested by undercover Toronto Police officers late last Thursday night in a dramatic takedown at a Don Mills ESSO service station in the in Thorncliffe Park Drive - Overlea area of East York - about 6 kilometers north of the suspect’s residence. ARNAOUT is charged with three counts of attempted murder, three counts of intending to cause an explosion, one count of criminal harassment and one count of possession of explosive material.

His takedown was reportedly the culmination of police investigation that began in June and encompassed “three letter bombs” sent to three seemingly unrelated victims in Toronto and Guelph, Ontario. According to information obtained exclusively through this joint investigation, the “takedown” was deliberately executed at that time by quick-thinking investigative operatives to avoid a potential loss of life of others at the hands of ARNAOUT. At the time of his arrest, a reportedly cash-strapped ARNAOUT was driving a late model rental vehicle and carrying explosives in amounts far in excess and much more lethal than contained within the letter bombs he reportedly sent to date. He was a three-month resident of the “Bombay Bunker,” a dwelling located at 176 Ashdale Avenue, aptly nicknamed due to its unique, strangely fortified, bunker-like appearance and additions, the varying number of occupants and the frequency of its many obviously-Islamic visitors.

According to two police officials close to this investigation, both speaking on the condition of anonymity, ARNAOUT was the primary subject of interest, but the investigation is fanning out to encompass others “at its periphery.”  According to two well-placed police sources, ARNAOUT was carrying “very unstable explosives” in his rental vehicle when taken down at the gas station. “If properly detonated, the explosives could have caused potentially catastrophic and deadly results for a significant area,” stated one police source. The other source explained that the explosives were not only dangerous, but unstable and could not be safely detonated in place, which was the cause for their transport to the Leslie St. Spit. Both police sources refused to comment on the types of explosives found in the vehicle, but both affirmed that they “were not all the same composition” as contained in the so-called letter bombs. “That is the reason we had to take the extraordinary steps to transport the materials inside bomb canisters to a remote location. There were other considerations, but I do not wish to get into those,” added a police source. Asked if the other considerations included the possibility of the explosives being “laced with contaminates,” the police source again refused comment, adding only: “we transported the materials to a safely remote location for cause.”

The investigation into the primary suspect, Adel Mohamed ARNAOUT, began in June at the behest of a victim of harassment, allegedly by ARNAOUT. The investigation into his activities merged with the letter bombs in August, according to police officials. A brief time line of the dates and victims is provided below:

Harassment & letter-bomb victims

- June 2007: SCOTT, Steven; Toronto, Ontario [Harassment]

- 11 August 2007: RADI, Abdel Magid Radi: Victoria Park and Lawrence Ave. E. area, Scarborough, Ontario [Letter bomb – with injury]

- 19 August 2007: REIBER, Terrence: Yonge St.-Sheppard Ave. area Real Estate lawyer, Toronto, Ontario [Letter bomb]

- 22 August 2007: BECKER, JOHN: Self-Employed contractor, Guelph, Ontario [Letter bomb]

With respect to the letter bombs, it is clear that they were NOT chosen at random, but the reason was not disclosed by police. “We don’t have a motive at this point,” Toronto police Const. Wendy Drummond said. “We do know that the three victims ” the two in Toronto and the one in Guelph - “ were not chosen at random.” [emphasis added].

According to our police sources, the trouble between ARNAOUT and SCOTT began at about the same time ARNAOUT moved in to the “Bombay Bunker.” During our joint investigation, Canada Free Press and the Northeast Intelligence Network were able to confirm that there is a connection to the suspect’s troubles with SCOTT, his arrival at the house, and his subsequent activities. Police refused further comment, including comment off the record as a larger investigation is continuing.

The dwelling is owned by Mohammad Latif RAJA. His brother, Mohammad Fayyaz RAJA, works as the “caretaker” of the Ashdale Avenue dwelling. In June, the then-unemployed ARNAOUT allegedly showed up at the house with enough money to pay for the security deposit and at least one month’s rent - over $1,000, but was unable to afford the entire amount that called for a security deposit and two months rent. Reportedly, ARNAOUT was permitted to rent a fortified basement apartment at a $20.00 discount. ARNAOUT then reportedly obtained a position as a security guard for a Toronto based security firm.

Neighbors have their say

Interviews with neighbors, most who are Muslim, by investigators of the Northeast Intelligence Network, brought a lively mix of descriptions of the residence and activities at that location.

Three neighbors living close to the Ashdale Avenue house were interviewed during this joint investigation - and all three expressed their troubling concerns about the residents and visitors to this fortress-like house.

“I see Muslim men coming and going to and from this house all of the time, at all hours,” stated one female in broken English who resides nearby and has a good vantage position of all of the activities at that location. “I’ve seen men coming and going all through the night, into the early morning hours, sometimes all night,” she added. “One thing I noticed were the vehicles- many are luxury vehicles and a lot have license plates from the United States, including New York and Michigan. I believe things maybe [are] not right, something going on there.”

When asked if she reported any of her observations to the authorities, she replied: “What you want me to tell them? It’s not illegal for people to visit, is it? We’re Muslim, and we don’t want more problems. We don’t need to create more problems for our people. They could be teaching the Qu’ran, I don’t know.”  After being reminded that one of the occupants was just arrested for sending letter bombs and possessing explosives, she replied: “Maybe he was. We don’t know what’s true yet.”

When asked about the unusual construction of the house that resembled a fortress with steel doors and mesh wire window coverings, this neighbor declined further comment, adding that it is up to the owners to decide what to build there, not the neighbors and certainly, not anyone else.

A second neighbor was a little more concerned about the activities at the residence, also noticing a lot of vehicular traffic by vehicles with license plates from various U.S. states. This adult male resident, also refusing to provide his name although it was labeled on his mailbox, stated that between 20-30 people either live at 176 Ashdale Avenue or stay there regularly. They receive a lot of packages delivered by private couriers, and there seems to be a constant flow of Muslim men to and from this house that has been under construction for the last few years. “I don’t know what they are building there, but they sure have been doing a lot of construction,” added this source. They are not outwardly friendly to others, and keep to themselves. “I believe that some of the occupants attend university, but I cannot say for certain,” stated this neighbor.

A third resident, fearing repercussions, also asked for anonymity but was more vocal about the activities at the “Bombay Bunker.” “In fact, I might have been one of the first to refer to that house as the Bombay Bunker,” stated this long-time resident of the neighborhood. “Our neighborhood used to be much different than it is today. It used to be a place where everyone lived together, watched out for each other and helped each other. Now, there is a huge presence of Muslims who have taken over the area, segregated themselves and refuse to socialize or interact with non-Muslims.” This source stated that he has expressed concerned about the activities at the “Bombay Bunker” to authorities, but declined to detail the responses he received. “Two years ago, I was told that someone would look into it, and here we are today, that’s all I will say regarding the authorities.”

According to this source, he has seen men using both cellular and satellite communications outside at this location. “I have seen two or three men talking on satellite phones. I know what they look like, I’ve used one before.” This source added: “I know there are computers on constantly, and there are a lot of deliveries made to the house by private carriers like DHL and other private concerns. I don’t know what is coming or going, but the house is active all of the time.”

Possible International connections

“There have been many vehicles with license plates from New York, Ohio, Michigan, all from the United States coming and going to and from the house,” stated the third resident interviewed. I’ve seen men dressed in full Muslim attire coming from the U.S., staying for short periods, then leaving. Sometimes, three or four men would arrive, and only one or two would leave.” This source also stated that he has heard that “some of the men have connections to mosques in Buffalo and Lackawanna in the U.S. and Mississauga in Ontario. I don’t have any way to verify this, but I’ve been told by others in the area.”

According to the two police officials who have provided information, Canadian officials are investigating possible connections to at least three overseas countries, including Lebanon, Pakistan and Egypt. While our police sources declined to comment on any possible connections to Hezbollah, they both noted that a “decisive majority” of Muslims appear to support Hezbollah as evidenced by recent anti-Israeli rallies tacitly sanctioned by Canada’s political system.

“To be certain, there is much more to this than being reported. There will be additional arrests, not necessarily directly related to the letter bombs, but stemming from an ancillary investigation. This is much larger than three amateurish mail bombs, I will tell you that.”

The Northeast Intelligence Network and Canada Free Press are continuing their investigation.

Sheikh implicated in Pearl’s Death says Daniel Pearl is not dead

Imam El Sheikh Gilani “Sets the Record Straight”
1 July 2007: In a recently published press release issued by top Pakistani terrorist Sheikh Mubarek Gilani - the man who Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl was on his way to interview when he was abducted and ultimately beheaded, suggests that Daniel Pearl is not dead, and that his “purported” death is part of a larger conspiracy to smear his good name.

Gilani has accused the Northeast Intelligence Network and specifically its founder and director, Doug Hagmann, in waging “…a campaign of hate, fabricated falsehood, lies, and appalling propaganda aimed at bringing about a clash between Muslims and Christians the world over, and particularly in the United States (U.S.).”

Now, the top Pakistani terrorist who presides over numerous Muslim compounds in the U.S. and funds terrorism through businesses and charities inside the U.S. is claiming to be a victim again:

“Despite the truth being available, the media continues to malign El Sheikh Gilani by leading a naive public into believing he had a role in the plot. Pearl’s “widow” wrote a book and produced a movie falsely implicating El Sheikh Gilani while knowing of his innocence. Within the circles of those who have followed the developments in this case, it is a common consensus that Daniel Pearl is not dead. Special appreciation is extended by the Vice Chancellor to the Hon. President of Pakistan, Gen. Pervez Musharraf, who was one of the very few who was courageous enough to dare and speak out and draw attention to the inconsistencies and untruths in this case, and to defend the noble family. May the One Almighty Creator reward him for his efforts and suffice him in his struggles against the ongoing hate campaign perpetrated by the Illuminati.

“In this regard I am going to prove that Douglas J. Hagman [sic] and his group are the actual perpetrators of international terrorism, and racial and religious bigotry and their ceaseless campaign of hate, is more damaging to the U.S. than any other country. The U.S. has become a pawn of hidden hands that use America’s wealth and the innocent blood of their sons and daughters to wage their wars against Muslims.”Sheikh Mubarek Ali Gilani - Pakistani terror leader, Chancellor of the International Qu’ranic Open University Islamberg, Hancock, New York

New report of radical, anti-U.S. Islamic centers confirms our 2004-05 findings

Investigative report by Douglas J. Hagmann, Director

Private undercover team exposes nationwide network of radical, anti-U.S. Islamic centers and supports our investigative findings…

Mosques and Islamic centers in the U.S. are actively teaching jihad ideology and paramilitary training in the U.S.

“I have sources - inside sources. These people at Best are armed and dangerous. They are doing paramilitary training there.”– Statement by former city council member about an Islamic Center in the city of Buffalo, NY. [Reported by Douglas J. Hagmann, director of the Northeast Intelligence Network, September, 2004]

“Our initial investigation has concluded there are between 400 to 500 radical Islamic centers in the U.S. In those places, they preach an extreme version of Islam that says America and the West is the enemy. They espouse violence, hatred and the need for terrorism.” –Reported by David Gaubatz, director of counterintelligence and counterterrorism for the Society of Americans for National Existence and former senior U.S. intelligence official, June 2007

Image from covert surveillance of Islamic center in Buffalo, NY. Children playing or paramilitary exercise?28 June 2007: On 27 May 2005, the Northeast Intelligence Network published an investigative report titled ”Islamic Jihad Training in America?” that summarized the findings of our extensive investigation and covert surveillance of mosques and Islamic centers inside the U.S. that are purportedly teaching Islamic “jihad” in the form of ideological teachings and paramilitary style training to members of such Islamic centers. The report is available  by request (e-mailed in PDF format).

Target practice for terrorists

Target practice for terrorists

School bus used for target practice located at Islamic “educational” camp in Hancock, NY. Harmless shooting, or something more sinister?
The primary focus of “Part I” of our investigation was the Islamic center located in the city of Buffalo, New York, a location that could be used as a template for other locations inside the U.S. The Northeast Intelligence Network first disclosed our investigative findings exclusively on The Tom Bauerle Show, featured on WBEN 930-AM in late 2004, prior to the issuance of our written report. Our findings, based on photographic documentation and information obtained through interviews, research, and other investigative methods, suggest that the ideology and practical aspects of Islamic Jihad is being taught at mosques and Islamic centers inside the United States, and those in charge of the Islamic centers are not being truthful to the public about their teachings. [Click "read more" above to continue reading].

In addition to photographic and other documentation we obtained relevant to the Buffalo, NY Islamic Center, the Northeast Intelligence Network found instances where the Imam of the Buffalo, NY Islamic center, Ibriham MEMON, appeared to propagate hatred of non-believers of Islam in a speech he gave at an Islamic conference - statements that could serve to exemplify our findings in this brief audio clip.

Unsurprisingly, our findings were challenged by not only those who operate the Islamic centers, but by a broader spectrum of people who, in spite of the evidence presented, did not - and still do not believe such activities and teachings are taking place. The recent investigative findings of Mr. Gaubatz, a former counter-intelligence official, are consistent with the reports we issued in 2004-05, and serve to reinforce our findings. Perhaps now more people will awaken to the fact that hundreds of Islamic centers in the United States have become a hot-bed of extremist activity; they promote violence, terrorism and hatred against America.

Fox News confirms: Money from MOA members in U.S. being sent to Pakistan

23 June 2007: Catherine Herridge of Fox News reports on the Muslims of Americas - a front organization for Pakistani Sheikh Mubarek Gilani - confirming a fact we have long been reporting - that money is being funneled from the groups here in the U.S. to the terrorist Sheikh in Pakistan. In February, 2006, terror leader Mubarek Gilani issued a religious statement from Pakistan against Northeast Intelligence Network director Doug Hagmann relative to our investigative report.

According to one resident interviewed, 10-30% of a group member’s income, after the amount was confirmed by a “paymaster,” would be sent to Pakistan.

At Tulsa mosque, criticizing Islamic terrorists can be hazardous to your health

Investigative report by Douglas J. Hagmann, Director

Lawsuit also names Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) & NORTH AMERICAN ISLAMIC TRUST (NAIT)as defendants“By reason of the published statements of the Defendants, alleging that Jamal Miftah is “a traitor… anti Muslim… anti Islamic” Jamal Miftah’s life has been put in danger in the sense that he has been labeled apostate from the Muslim Religion by the Defendants and vulnerable to the death penalty in Muslim countries and/or vigilante justice in his adopted homeland.”

23 June 2007: Jamal MIFTAH, a Muslim who attended the Islamic Society of Tulsa, Oklahoma is now considered “public enemy number one” in the Tulsa Muslim community. His crime? He openly condemned the terrorist actions of Osama bin Laden and other Islamic terrorists in a letter to the editor (reprinted below) that was published in the Tulsa World daily newspaper on 29 October 2006. In his op-ed piece, MIFTAH urged Muslims to stop killing in the name of Islam, called bin Laden and other top Islamic terrorist cowards and stated that “some mosques and Islamic institutions in the U.S. and around the world have become tools in their hands and are used for collecting funds for their criminal acts.”

What happened to Mr. MIFTAH following the publication of his letter is the focus of a lawsuit he filed against the Islamic Society of Tulsa and several other related defendants. (A transcription of the lawsuit is published in its entirety below). According to Mr. MIFTAH, on or about 18 November 2006, he attended prayers at the mosque as he had normally done in the past. Following the prayers, Mr. MIFTAH alleges that the Iman of the Mosque and a defendant named in the lawsuit, Ahmad KABBANI, confronted him in an aggressive manner  - forcing him to retreat against a wall inside the mosque and told him that he “should be ashamed” of the letter he wrote, claiming that it was “anti-Islamic.”

At the same time and while being nearly pinned against the wall, mosque members and named defendants Houssam ELSOUESSSI, Abdullah ROE and Nooruddin DOE also confronted Mr. Miftah, screaming and shouting allegations that Mr. MIFTAH is “anti Muslim” and a “traitor” to Islam. ROE also removed his shoe, waived and swung it at Mr. MIFTAH’S face, shouting that he was “anti Muslim” and a “traitor.” Mr. MIFTAH was ultimately assisted by another member of the mosque who observed these activities and accompanied him outside, away from his aggressors.

In addition to the assault and defamation charges, the lawsuit enjoins additional defendants - specifically the ISLAMIC SOCIETY OF NORTH AMERICA (ISNA), and the NORTH AMERICAN ISLAMIC TRUST (NAIT). The Islamic Society of Tulsa, Oklahoma, happens to be funded, in part, by the NORTH AMERICAN ISLAMIC TRUST (NAIT) and further affiliated with the ISNA.

Additionally, the Northeast Intelligence Network is investigating ties between one of the co-defendants in this case- Mujeeb CHEEMA, a director of the Islamic Society of Tulsa, OK to Faisal CHEEMA the roommate of Joel Henry HINRICHS III. We will be providing updates as they are developed.

Also, it is important to note that in December 2003, the chairman and ranking Democrat of the Senate Finance Committee, Senators Charles Grassley and Max Baucus, respectively, listed ISNA as one of 25 American Muslim organizations that “finance terrorism and perpetuate violence.”

According to the sound research of Mr. Frank Gaffney, Jr., the founder and president of the Center for Security Policy and the author of War Footing: 10 Steps America Must Take to Prevail in the War for the Free World, The Islamic Society of North America is a front for the promotion of Saudi Arabia’s Wahhabi political, doctrinal and theological infrastructure in the United States and Canada. Established by the Saudi-funded Muslim Students Association, ISNA has for years sought to marginalize leaders of the Muslim faith who do not support the Wahhabist’ strain of Islamofascism, and, through sponsorship of propaganda and mosques, is pursuing a strategic goal of eventually dominating Islam in America.

ISNA provides indoctrination materials to about 1,100 of an estimated 2,500 mosques on the North American continent. Through its affiliate, the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT) - a Saudi government-backed organization created to fund Islamist enterprises in North America - it reportedly holds the mortgages of between 50 and 79 percent of those mosques. Through this device, ISNA exerts ideological as well as theological influence over what is preached and taught in these institutions and their schools.

Letter to the Editor that was published in The Tulsa World on 29 October 2006:

Message of Islam is not jihad, fatwahs

miftahjamal
Mr. Jamal Miftah, PlaintiffBy Jamal Miftah

I moved to the United States in March 2003, with my four kids and wife from Pakistan bordering Afghanistan. There was a call by a local jihadi organization to fight the coalition forces in Afghanistan. One of my dearest friends, Mirza Kohistani, fell prey to that call and joined the group, despite my advice and that of his wife to him.

All the leaders of that organization returned safely after the fall of the Taliban empire, but they left behind the body of my friend and hundreds of other innocent people like him.

I am obliged to respond to Ayman al-Zawahri’s recent video message, portraying himself as champion of Islam and others as liars.

My message to Ayman al-Zawahri and Muslims of the world: “Islam” means submission and is derived from a word meaning “peace.” Islam, Christianity and Judaism have the same origin, the Prophet Abraham. The prophet of Islam has said that God has no mercy on someone who does not have mercy for others.

I ask that al-Zawahri look at his deeds and those of his master, Osama bin Laden, and other so-called Islamic jihadists.

Because of lack of knowledge of Islam, Muslim youth are misguided into believing by the so-called champions of the cause of Islam that the current spate of killings and barbarism, which has no equal in the recent civilized history, is jihad in the name of Islam. They are incited, in the name of Islam, to commit heinous crimes not pardonable by any religion and strictly forbidden in Islam.

Cowards like al-Zawahri and bin Laden are inciting the ignorant and innocent youths to commit suicide bombings to kill innocent civilians including children, women and the elderly, while they hide in spider holes and caves. They never send their own sons and daughters, born out of half a dozen of their wives, to get killed in the name of Islam. They are themselves hypo crites, cowards, thugs and liars. For 12 years they misappropriated aid received from the U.S. and the West to fight Russia. Now they are ensuring smooth flow of petro dollars from Arab countries in the name of jihad against the West.

Even mosques and Islamic institutions in the U.S. and around the world have become tools in their hands and are used for collecting funds for their criminal acts. Half of the funds collected go into the pockets of their local agents and the rest are sent to these thugs.

They are the reason for branding the peaceful religion of Islam as terrorism. The result, therefore, is in the form of Danish cartoons and remarks/reference by the Pope.

I appeal to the Muslim youth in particular and Muslims of the world in general to rise up and start jihad against the killers of humanity and help the civilized world to bring these culprits to justice and prove that Islam is not a religion of hatred and aggression.

I appeal to the Muslim clerics around the world that, rather than issuing empty fatwas condemning suicide bombing, they should issue a fatwa for the death of such scoundrels and barbarians who have taken more than 4,267 lives of innocent people in the name of Islam and have carried out more than 24 terrorist attacks on civilian installations throughout the world. This does not include the chilling number of deaths because of such activities in Iraq and Afghanistan, which is well over 250,000.

I appeal to al-Zawahri and his band of thugs to hand themselves over to justice and stop spreading evil and killing innocent humans around the world in the name of Islam. Their time is limited and Muslims of the world will soon rise against them to apprehend them and bring them to justice.

11. On November 20, 2006 the Mosque Leadership, met and issued a direction (fatwa) to members of the Mosque - ordering them to call the Tulsa Police Department in the event Jamal Miftah returned to the Mosque, unless or until Jamal Miftah issued a public apology for his published opinion, which was anti Islamic and anti Muslim.

12. Jamal Miftah responded that the Mosque leadership must rescind its fatwa, alleging he was anti Muslim and anti Islamic and directing his expulsion from the Mosque.

18. Paragraphs one (1) through twenty two (22) are incorporated by reference.

19. The acts of Defendants, individually and jointly, are outrageous in that Defendants knew that if they labeled Jamal Miftah a “traitor, anti Muslim and anti Islamic” his life would be forfeit should he be found in a Muslim Country and labeled apostate and that he would live in constant fear and dread of vigilante “justice” from certain Muslims in the United States.

20. The acts of Defendants are the proximate cause of severe emotional distress in that Jamal Miftah is now labeled as apostate, forced along with his wife and four children to attend to prayers in their home, apart from the fellowship of other Muslims, prevented from traveling to any Muslim Country, including his homeland of Pakistan and robbed of his peace of mind and right to speak freely against those he believes have brought his faith into disrepute via attacks on his adopted homeland and other acts of terrorism. WHEREFORE, premises considered, Jamal Miftah prays for justice, at law and in equity, including but not limited to money damages, to compensate him for damage to his good name, emotional damages, and punitive damages to discourage future misconduct. He also prays for reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs incurred in bringing this action, pre and post judgment interest, an unequivocal written and published apology from all Defendants, and the public lifting of any fatwas or directions to the Muslim community that may endanger his life and peace.

Respectfully submitted,

12 June 2007: The headline on FoxNews.com reads: “Islamberg: A Terror Compound in New York … or Misunderstood Neighbors?” and is a comprehensive and well-balanced article written by reporter Michael Y. Park about the Islamic compound we have been investigating for quite some time. The article quotes some nearby residents who describe the enclave as an innocuous, but asks some important questions.

In 1980, a Pakistani cleric named Sheikh Mubarak Ali Gilani began preaching against Western culture at a Muslim mosque in Brooklyn, NY. He promoted Islam as the path to a better life and called for fighters to join his holy war against the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. With his new American recruits, Gilani established Islamberg, a 70-acre commune west of the Catskill Mountains near Hancock, NY.

Today, Jamaat ul-Fuqra has more than 35 suspected communes and more than 3,000 members spread across the United States, all in support of one goal: the purification of Islam through violence.

Statement by terrorist Sheikh Mubarek Gilani about our investigative reportNote: Gilani outright denies any ties to the terrorist organization Jamaat ul Fuqra. Our undercover investigation, however, captured admissions by residents of Islamberg who have pledged their complete allegiance and support to the terrorist Sheikh. Notably, Gilani was a participant in a “terrorist summit” In Khartoum, in December 1993, at which time he rubbed elbows with Osama bin Laden, Ayman al Zawahiri, and other well-known and still sought Islamic terrorists. According to one government report, the Canadian Broadcasting Company filmed Gilani and the others shouting anti-U.S. and anti-Semitic chants such as “Death to the Jews, Death to America, Down, down USA, and down CIA!

“In this regard I am going to prove that Douglas J. Hagman and his group are the actual perpetrators of international terrorism, and racial and religious bigotry and their ceaseless campaign of hate, is more damaging to the U.S. than any other country. The U.S. has become a pawn of hidden hands that use America’s wealth and the innocent blood of their sons and daughters to wage their wars against Muslims…..”

“Now, here comes the latest aggressor, Douglas J Hagmann. In one breath he concocts so many lies that one wonders how a person with common sense can do such a thing. His statements themselves are self-contradictory, identical to his predecessor, Yusuf Bodenski.” –Sheikh Syed Mubarik ‘Ali Gilani
