What’s in your Mosque?

By Douglas J. Hagmann, Director

11 March 2007: Americans, take note of the ornate and beautifully appointed mosques and Islamic centers that are being built all across our beloved country, serving as tangible examples of the freedom of religion afforded by the laws established by our forefathers. Countless men and women serving our country have died to preserve this and other valuable freedoms offered by life in the United States. You will not find the same freedoms afforded to Christian churches or Jewish synagogues in countries like Saudi Arabia, where it is against the law to bring a Bible or other Christian religious symbol into that country. Welcome to Islamic Sharia law, a concept that representatives of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) would like to see implemented in the United States. This goal was made clear by the statements of Omar M. Ahmad, Chairman of CAIR in 1998 when he proclaimed that Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith but to become dominant. He added that the Qu’ran should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.

In Australia, today’s Herald Sun details an audit of bookshops, prayer rooms, Islamic centers and online texts and recordings accessible to the mosques that promote religious hatred against non-Muslims, especially Jews and Christians. They found “dozens of books, pamphlets, DVDs and CDs with radical and sometimes violent messages,” including one book titled Man-Made Laws Vs. Shari'ah. That book urges Muslims not to "accept anything from their governments and rulers except sharia", stating any other system is heresy. Another booklet titled The Conditions of La Ilaha Illa Allah, states all children of Israel are going to hell. Most of these works are the product of Saudi Arabia and the Wahabbi doctrine of Islam, a dominant and driving force behind the mosques and Islamic centers being built inside of America today.

In America, the overwhelming majority of mosques and Islamic centers – 80-85% of the existing and new construction – are funded in part by Saudi Arabia and adhere to the more extreme Wahabbi doctrine that promotes Sharia law over constitutional law. From Buffalo, NY to Boston, MA, existing, recently built and planned construction are embracing and disseminating Islamic literature and other media that urge their followers to create an Islamist state in America. Knowing what to look for, however, is the key.

Like Australia, there is an Islamic subculture inside America that wants to see the subjugation of democracy by Sharia law, and spread Islamist hegemony throughout the US. Perhaps that is why in 2004, this investigator was denied an invitation to tour the Darul Uloom al Madania Islamic school in Buffalo, NY operated by Imam Ibrahim (Mohammad) MEMON.

That, of course, begs the question: What’s in your mosque?
