Flashback: One year ago

By Douglas J. Hagmann, Director

22 November 2007: It was exactly one year ago on Tuesday that six Muslim Imams were removed from US Airways Flight 300 after being observed by passengers and crew engaging in behavior that was deemed suspicious at the Minneapolis airport and aboard the aircraft.

Their activities inside the airport terminal and aboard the aircraft were witnessed by several passengers and crew, and were disturbing enough to warrant their removal from the aircraft and subsequent detention and questioning by federal authorities. The redacted police report  contains details of their behavior that in post-9/11 America should give any person of reasonable sensitivities cause for concern - or at least one would think that should be the case. The report contains contemporaneously obtained voluntary statements made by various witnesses determined to be reliable, from experienced airline employees to professions and even a member of the clergy with significant knowledge of the Islamic ideology.

Within hours of their release by authorities, the Imams appeared in front of the press to protest their removal from the aircraft, suggesting that it was not their behavior but a growing trend of Islamophobia that caused their plight.

It was exactly one year ago that I predicted, on this web site, that this incident would become a “defining moment” in the asymmetrical war in which we are engaged - a water shed event for the tactic of the insidiously effective tool known as Islamic ideological jihad. And it has.

EXCERPT: “Mark my words: the plight of the Muslim leaders aboard U.S. Air Flight 300 will be a defining moment in the asymmetrical war in which we are engaged - a water shed event for the tactic of the insidiously effective tool known as Islamic ideological jihad. Expect the fallout from this event to be wide and deep, with the liberally biased media carrying the torch of “Islamophobia” to new heights.” –Doug Hagmann

Article: Personal Islamic Jihad

“While serving up a hefty portion of eye candy to the trusting public, the so called “moderate Muslims” are busily undermining the fragile security apparatus hastily configured post 9/11 through accusations of Islamophobia, religious bigotry and now, ‘flying while Muslim.’”–Douglas J. Hagmann

And now…

From INVESTOR’S BUSINESS DAILY: A federal judge had a chance to add a layer of protection for the American people. But she missed it, and in the process might have become the useful idiot of a terrorist setup.
