TARGET: OIL - Central theme for current al Qaeda “Voice of Jihad”

8 February 2007: Issue #30 of the once twice-monthly Voice of Jihad Internet magazine published by al Qaeda was released today, having a central theme of targeting oil refineries and supplies as a crippling strategy against the West. voj30The current issue of the Voice of Jihad is 56 page long and is consistent in its slick appearance and content with the previous issues, continuing its template and containing over a dozen articles and a section that includes input from readers. Past issues of the Voice of Jihad presents articles and Islamic positions on various topics, including but not limited to Qu’ranic studies, inspirational and motivational articles, and general editorial content that defines Al Qaeda’s position on numerous social, economic and military issues.
