Law enforcement uses “acoustical weapons” against protesters

By Douglas J. Hagmann, Director

25 September 2009: Law Enforcement in Western Pennsylvania rolled out acoustic weapons against G-20 protesters in Pittsburgh yesterday, effectively breaking up the protesters. Nationally syndicated talk show host Neal Boortz has pertinent commentary and link to a short video of the law enforcement action HERE.

I know two police officers personally who were deployed there, but agree wholeheartedly with Mr. Boortz that the audio/video of this incident is indeed disturbing. Interestingly, one of the officers I mentioned also confided that he felt that the method of handling these miscreants “over the top” and “unprecedented.”

The video is accessible via the Neal Boortz web site at this link.
