Man Arrested for Possession of Rocket Launcher Friday, February 3rd, 2006

3 February 2006: Since yesterday afternoon, the Northeast Intelligence Network has been actively investigating the strange circumstances involving Robert F. KANE of Anchorage, Alaska. KANE is reportedly associated with Security Aviation, Inc., and was arrested yesterday by federal authorities for “failing to register an explosive device” which he possessed – specifically, a rocket pod launcher. Federal search warrants were executed at three locations in Alaska: the aviation hanger occupied by Security Aviation, Inc. at Anchorage, their Palmer hanger and the law offices of Mark AVERY, who is listed as the sole proprietor of Security Aviation, Inc. AVERY is also a former state prosecutor.

Agents from a number of federal and state agencies were involved in the execution of the search warrants, including the FBI, the U.S. Marshal Service, the IRS, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Alaska State Troopers, U.S. Fish and Wildlife, and the United States Air Force.
